Different styles

Postby admin » Wed Apr 26, 2006 10:28 am

Short answer... yes.

Your sitestyle selected in Style View is the default for the entire site.

On an individual page or pages, you can override the default, but it takes a few steps to do so.

First, make a new master border for the page(s) you want to style differently.

You can set a different style for navbars and banners using their properties.

You can modify page-level text styles using the Text menu on a page, then Edit Text Styles.

You can set a different background for a page using the Layout properties.

Those are the items included in a style.

I figured by using the properties I could change the buttons and banners
I've been playing with styles quite a bit, and I think I'm gettin the hang of it

I'll give that a shot tonight after I get home

THanks !

When you say make a new Master border - is that in addition to the existing one as far as the template is concerned ?
Like a new layout ?
OR just delete the current pages master border - I'm afraid it'll kill the master border for the entire site! ?

Thanks

NEW master border

If you select your master border and go to its properties on the page you want to change, you'll be able to make a new master border based on the current one.

Then, you can make your style changes without affecting your other pages.

Then, you can select the new master border for whichever pages you want to use it on.
