Using AWM with Fusion.

help needed

hello,

new install of XP and a rebuild of NOF later, need help.

I installed the component into the components folder (awm) and still cannot see the component from NOF. am I missing something?

If you installed with Fusion open, you need to restart the program.

Then, from Page Design View, look at View > Components. You'll see AllWebMenus listed there. Check it.

Which version of Fusion are you using? Once you check the component on the list, it will appear in slightly different places in different versions of Fusion.

I am using 9.1. I closed it and started it again, no luck. thoughts?

If you go to View > Toolbars in the menus in Page View, it will be there.... if you installed the component to the correct folder.

By default, it should be here:

C:\Program Files\NetObjects\NetObjects Fusion 9.0\Components

with the components files installed in a folder called awm.

C:\Program Files\NetObjects\NetObjects Fusion 9.0\Components\awm

is the complete path.

If you installed it elsewhere, all bets are off.

And you are using the latest version of the AWM component?

The original component from back in the days of Fusion 7 doesn't work with Fusion 9 or later.

The latest version of the free AWM component is available from the BeyondFusion Store page.
