Netobjects Fusion 10 PHP processing using Lotus Domino.

Postby Doug Hancock » Tue Jan 22, 2008 11:26 pm

I am trying to get the "NOF Testimonials" component working under Lotus Domino Release 8. I have managed to get PHP working as you can checked by the following URL:

http://www.goclarens.co.za/html/test.php - (this will show the version of php)

The page containing the Testimonial component is at the following url:

http://www.goclarens.co.za/html/contact_us.php

As you will see it displays the page and allows entry of the form correctly (and validates) but when the Add button is pushed I get "The webpage cannot be found" response. Also the .csv file is not updated.

Please can somebody have a look and help. I notice that the url of the response is http://www.goclarens.co.za/html/contact_us/php/ (note the extra slash).

Is this maybe the probelm and if so how can I get rid of it?

Also I am running XP Professional on the server. I'm not sure if I've got the Permissions set correctly. I tried to set them to FullControl for Everyone and NETWORK etc to no avail.

I also tried the Guest Book NOF Component and it worked and wrote the info to the .csv file. The Admin part (of Guest Book) got the same problem as above.

Please help as I'm desparate to get these components to work.

PHP PHP_SELF variable

Postby Doug Hancock » Wed Jan 23, 2008 1:13 pm

I notice that a few of NOF PHP Scripts use the PHP_SELF varaible. This returns the name of the script that is executing witn a slash(/) appended.

I have changed these scripts to use SCRIPT_NAME instead and now the Testimonials component is working.

Is there an easier way of doing this? A PHP settting perhaps? I am using PHP Version 5.2.5
