HTML validation errors

Postby artman » Fri Jun 11, 2010 2:42 pm

Chuck,

I was wondering if you knew a way around this. We are getting a lot of HTML validation errors on our site.
Most are related to the fact that our company name has a & in it.

So on our titles, links and H1,H2 tags we get validation errors.

My concern with changing them to the "&amp" code is that is will screw up our SEO.

If I remember correctly when we did change them in NOF 9, they showed in previews as &amp.

What do you think?

Thanks

Try changing your the text encoding (formatting) in your site to Unicode (UTF-8).

But no, I doubt using the HTML version of an ampersand would hurt SEO.
