Help with linking my form to email account ??

Hi iam using fusion 11 iam trying to do a form and link it to my emails when some one submits a question but when i submit anything my php opens in dreamweaver how to i input code in to fusion so it will direct the emails to my account and my database
my database is being hosted on freezone internet so can any one help me with this

You're using the Fusion forms handler. It will send the form output to you via e-mail and store the information in a CSV file (comma separated values).

You have to publish to a web server equipped with PHP for the script to execute.

If you publish locally, whatever program you have installed that is associated with .php files will open.

Since the PHP file doesn't execute as the form action when you click on the Submit button, it appears that the web server you have your site on does not support PHP.

what oprtions do i have then if my host cant support php all iam looking for is when some one submits it sends me a email to tell me and saves their details
i dont mind if it saves it on my machine as long as it saves it .What other program can i use and how do i do that

Find a new host.

You need one with either PHP or ASP available. To do what you want requires a script to process the form output.
