XML Page Cannot be displayed - What do I do Next?

I am currently running XP and have not migrated to Vista or 7.

As I look a the active sitestyles, in the graphics and also the preview tabs, I receive the following error:

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the refresh button, or try again later.

system error: -2146697211. Error processing resource 'file:///c:/documents and settings/ (the rest of the path name).

I haven't the slightest idea what to do next. Any suggestions?

I assume this is something new. That everything was working ok before.

Uninstall and re-install Fusion.

A recent Windows update appears to have caused issues with some users.
