How do I stop pages copying each time I change one?

Postby AndyQ » Sat Mar 06, 2010 9:49 am

Hi, just building a new site. Have created a page then copied it to make up several new ones. (is for my sons cricket club so I ned U9, U11, U13 etc all in same format but different content like league tables etc)

Problem is now, if I change anything on one page it automatically changes all the others.

How do I prevent this from happening?

Thanks
Andy

Stop putting all of your pages contents into the master border.

Fusion has a great feature called Master Borders. This allows you to place content that you actually want to have on all pages using the master border, without having to enter it individually on every page.

Content unique to a page goes into the Layout for that page.

In page design view, you'll see gray buttons in the rulers that slide, allowing you to size master borders.

You can have top, bottom and side areas in a master border.

When you're new to Fusion, it's very easy to accidentally place page-specific content in the master border instead of the Layout area.
