OK. Somebody please help me with link styles!

Trying to make multiple "link styles". I just can't seem to figure out how to make different "link styles" work/display correctly in Firefox or Internet Explorer for that matter. I had it working perfectly on my last publish, but I changed a few of my other links and published again and now it's all f'd up!

The site is: http://www.themovietimeline.net The leftside master border is the area in question. If you open the website in Firefox, the link style is supposed to behave like the e-mail link in the "top master border" area - admin@themovietimeline.net.

Here's how I've been doing it. Somebody tell me if I'm wrong. I go to "style view", I add my link styles. Example:

.different:link
{
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, Sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
color: rgb(153,255,255);
font-weight: bold;
text-align: left;
background-position: top
}

Then, to apply the style. I go to page view. Highlight the text - click the link button in the text properties- and then click the html button - then I type "Insert class="different" - then I select the page that I want it to link to and then hit the link button to finish.

This method was working fine for a couple of publish's, but now it's not holding the properties correctly, and now that I've added the new link styles, a lot of my other existing links, that I haven't touched, seem to be inheriting some of my new "link style" properties as well.

I just don't know what to do. It almost displays right in Internet Explorer (not quite), but firefox is completely wrong.

Am I doing this wrong? If somebody could just break down the correct method for adding new "link classes", I'd really appreciate it. I've looked up and read many tutorials on how to do it, but I must be stupid or something because I can't make it work.

God! What a waste! All I had to do was delete my cookies and history, and now everything is working right. Sorry!
