We use this one on BeyondFusion. Can anyone recommend a decent automated newsletter tool that can be incorporated into Fusion?
If you download it, you find that it supports English.Hi Chuck
Thanks for the link
However - I dont speak French and could not see an English version - is there one?
Do you mean how to install it or to use it?Hi Chuck
Did an install - but I seem to have hit a brick wall
Are there no instructions with it????
Probably a file size issue. Go to the configuration page. You'll see a section for file attachments. Make sure the file size setting is larger than the size of the pdf you're trying to attach.Chuck
Thanks for all your help
I have now got the automated newsletter working well - with one exception.
Attachments - does it permit PDF files to be sent as attachments?
I can get it to attach word docs and images etc.
But it just seems to ignore PDF files?
You export the Word doc as HTML and then copy/paste.Hi Chuck
I have the newsletter programme working well for sending newsletter as attachments.
Many thanks for all your help there.
However, some of my clients now want to send newsletters but not as attachments.
They are sending me word docs - my question is - is there a simple way of cutting and pasting into the
HTML format newsletter text area - where it says...
Compose your newsletter in html format here.
Without having to hand code the text?
Appreciate your advice
You can open the HTML file in FF or IE by using the file path in Windows. Like: file:///C:/pathtofileHi Chuck
I tried that however when I preview the newsletter via the "preview" it doesn't display it correctly - i.e there are no line breaks etc.
If I copy and paste the word doc into Fusion and publish as a web page and then link to the URL - it displays the text OK in the newsletter tool.
But what I want to do is just save the word doc as HTML (as you suggested) and then cut and paste into the WANEWS
My question is, What do I open the file that I have saved as HTML from word in - prior to cutting and pasting into WANEWS?
Can you please explain a little more how I do this?
